Which one? The Layover Tour adds the old Egyptian Museum and the bazaar. The Stopover Tour gives you the Grand Egyptian Museum, home of the complete Tutankhamun collection, plus lunch.
What's included
Airport pickup and return in a private air-conditioned car, a private English-speaking Egyptologist (Spanish on request), and entrance tickets to the sites. The Stopover Tour also includes lunch. Tips are not included.
Before you book
- You need an Egypt visa to leave the airport. Many nationalities can get one online or on arrival; it currently costs about US$25. Check your nationality in our Egypt visa guide. The visa is not included in the tour price.
- Send us both flight times when you book. We confirm what fits into your layover and plan the day so you're back at the airport in time.
- Luggage: if your bags are checked through to your final destination, you only need hand luggage for the day.
