Three days in the Western Desert: Bahariya Oasis, the Black Desert, Crystal Mountain and the chalk formations of the White Desert, with a night camping under the stars or in a lodge.
The White Desert is one of Egypt's great natural sights: wind-carved white rocks shaped like mushrooms and animals on a sea of sand. You reach it by 4x4 from Bahariya and spend the night out in the desert.
Camping gear and dinner by the fire are arranged by our Bedouin team; a lodge is possible instead.
Drive from Cairo to Bahariya Oasis (about 4 hours). Lunch and a walk in the palm groves and hot springs.
By 4x4 through the Black Desert and Crystal Mountain to the White Desert. Sunset among the rocks and a night camping under the stars.
Sunrise in the desert, breakfast at camp, then drive back to Cairo.
